Here we will go over the Dashboard tab and it's functions.
Key Features of the Dashboard.
Two views are available on the dashboard: "Front Desk" and "Provider". In the "Front Desk" view, users can access information about appointments in the office, including "Today's Appointments", "Appointments this week", and "Appointments this month". It is also possible to search for specific dates on the calendar and select providers from the office. Additionally, users have the option to print this information directly from the screen.
Users now have the convenient ability to view the current list of patients in three categories: "Awaiting Check-In", "Checked In", and "Checked Out". To check a patient in, simply select the patient in the "Awaiting Check-In" tab and effortlessly move them to the "Checked In" tab using a drag-and-drop action. The same process can be repeated to transition a patient from the "Checked In" tab to the "Checked Out" tab.
Additionally, users can conveniently make a new payment by clicking on the dollar sign ($) located to the right of the patient's name while they are in either the "Awaiting Check-In" or "Checked Out" tabs. Other pertinent information displayed to the left of the patient's name includes the scheduled appointment's Start and End time, as well as the appointment type. When a patient is in the "Checked In" tab, the time they were checked in will be displayed to the right of their name, along with an active timer indicating the appointment duration.
Lastly, we can quickly access the calendar from this page by clicking the "Full Calendar" button that you can find in the "Awaiting Check In", "Checked In", and 'Checked Out' tabs.
The "Provider" view, as displayed here, offers a convenient overview of the patients who have appointments scheduled for today. This view provides a quick glimpse of the date, time, appointment type, patient name, and provider. Furthermore, it presents a comprehensive display of charts, services, products, and payments, allowing you to effortlessly add any necessary information without having to navigate to the patient profile.
